This song released on the same day that my brother passed away. It hits home pretty hard and it's still been on repeat to help me get through this tough time. I plan to get the lyrics from this song tattooed on me soon as part of a memorial tattoo.
To Daniel & Isaac- Thank you for always giving me music that I can relate to on such a deep level. It has helped me get through my darkest days so much and I can't thank you enough! ❤🖤

It still feels like yesterday that I discovered Empathy Test and once I found out they were friends, I'd been keeping my eyes peeled for a collaboration. Absolutely love it! One of my favourite releases this year. Daniel Graves is the superstar of 2021.

about
“Save Myself” is a collaboration and duet with longtime friend Isaac Howlett of Empathy Test. Somber and contemplative, yet upbeat and energetic, the song showcases the best of both worlds when it comes to our respective sounds. A mixture of synthwave, EBM and indie pop that will surely work as well on the dance floor, as it does at home.
“Save Myself” arrives Nov. 5th.
lyrics
The skies are heavy gray,
The clouds won't blow away,
The road is wet with rain,
Shake myself awake again,
I'd love to save you,
I'd love to save you,
I'd love to save you but I'm already trying,
Trying to save myself.
The clock's ticking away,
It's not long before I'm gray,
Such sweet eternity,
And I've got no time for sympathy.
I'd love to save you,
I'd love to save you,
I'd love to save you but I'm already trying,
Trying to save myself.
More dark days,
Are coming,
Can't save you,
I'm sorry.

Bandcamp is my favorite app. Without Bandcamp I would missed out on a lot of great music like Empathy Test! A wonderful album. Occasionally bombastic with nice synths and the voice of Isaac Howlett on top. Well done guys💪🏽 Fredschuit

The love of my life wore a solid gray dress the first time we met, and the image came stark and clear listening to this song. We fought about shades of gray between black and white, and without a doubt she changed me in a way portrayed perfectly by these lyrics. Simple yet profound, this is the best kind of song, and the danceable production sets just the right mood. astropulse
